PCRA 2026 Annual Convention 

PCRA will holds its 2026 Convention April 10-12, 2026, at the Wyndham Gettysburg in Gettysburg, PA! The Convention Committee is working to ensure the convention is filled with high-quality continuing education sessions.

  • Room rate $145 per room, per night, plus 11% tax.

Proposed Bylaws Changes
There are two proposed bylaws changes for the 2026 Annual Membership Meeting - Revising the districts and change the dues renewal period. The changes are outlined below.

Annual dues shall be due and payable on January 1.

PCRA's annual dues run from January to December, yet its fiscal year runs from July to June.  Syncing the annual dues renewals with the it easier for PCRA's Board to track income and expenses.

 

 

IMPLIMENTATION, PART 1:  In November 2026, members will be invoiced $100 (one-half the annual dues) for a 6-month membership covering January 2027 through June 2027.

 

 

IMPLEMENTATION, PART 2:  In May 2027, members will be invoiced $200 (full amount of annual dues) for a 12-month membership  covering July 2027 through June 2028.  Thereafter, annual dues renewals will be invoiced in May for a 12-month membership that spans July through June.

 

Article VI – Districts
Section 1

The Board of Directors is proposing to redo the districts. The reason behind the redistricting is it is getting harder to fill the district director positions, and it was decided it would be best to have fewer districts.

Below is a list of the proposed districts and the counties which would be in each district. Territorially, the districts would be Northwestern, Northeastern, Southwestern, South Central, and Southeastern. Both the old and new maps are attached.

District 1 (old District 1 merged with part of old District 2): 
Erie, Crawford, Mercer, Lawrence, Venango, Butler, Warren, Forest, Clarion, Armstrong, Jefferson, Indiana, McKean, Elk, Cameron, Clearfield, Clinton, and Centre.

District 2 (part of old District 2 and all of old District 3):
Potter, Tioga, Lycoming, Union, Snyder, Montour, Northumberland, Bradford, Sullivan, Columbia, Schuylkill, Susquehanna, Wyoming, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Carbon, Wayne, Pike, and Monroe.

District 3 (all of old District 4 and all of old District 5):  
Beaver, Washington, Greene, Allegheny, Westmoreland, Fayette, Cambria, Somerset, Blair, Huntingdon, and Bedford.

District 4 (all of old District 6):
Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Dauphin, Lebanon, Cumberland, Fulton, Franklin, Adams, and York.

District 5 (all of old District 7 and all of old District 8): 
Northampton, Lehigh, Berks, Lancaster, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia.

Report of the PCRA Nominating Committee
Pursuant to Article VII of the Bylaws, the Nominating Committee respectfully submits the following recommended slate of officers for the 2026-2027 year:

Pursuant to Article VII, Section 3 (E) of the Bylaws, this slate will be voted upon at the Annual Business Meeting, which will be held at Wyndham Gettysburg in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Pursuant to Article VII, Section 3 (D) of the Bylaws, any nomination challenging a proposed nominee shall be received via U.S. Postal Service, certified mail, return receipt requested, at the business address of PCRA at least thirty (30) days prior to the Annual Meeting. Said challenging nominee must be supported by the signatures of at least twenty-five (25) members eligible to vote and consist of not more than five (5) from any one District. The Secretary-Treasurer shall be responsible for confirming the signatures and the good standing of the members. Such nomination(s) and supporting material shall be continuously posted in the registration area of the annual or special meeting.
